German Shepherd Dogs Protecting Kids And Woman Compilation - Best Of Protection Dog

The baby with the sprinkler was the best.
I just noticed the baby had pointed the doggy to join in the fun..too cute, the two of them.
I agree
@Lindy JoAnna mine used to watch me shoot hockey pucks in the driveway. I’d always clean up when I’m done and put the pucks in a basket. One day when I was done he just started picking pucks up and putting them in the basket. I never trained him to do it.
Time stamp is 1:59
@Avocado that’s awesome
I had a German Shepherd named Jake when I was growing up he was an exceptionally large German Shepherd and exceptionally protective of me he went everywhere with me he’s been long since gone and I miss him terribly
Me too…mine was 196 lbs when he died…never want to go thru that again.
Mike Morbuk I have an exceptionally large Shepard you can have him cuz he annoying af
ძქძშუტძ
@Mike Morbuk was the german shepherd young at the time because they are pretty teratorial. And they can scare off stray dogs easily
Omg I have one named Jake!!!!! He’s my buddy
They are such dedicated smart dogs. I’m a small woman, but I felt I could walk anywhere with my german shepherd and be safe. No one dared to even come near me when I was out hiking alone with her.
One of the reasons I am getting one for my family. He’s going to be a well trained pet, but will look like a K-9. Strangers won’t be able to tell the difference though.
@Montblanc So true! GSDs have very good intuition. My GSD was frightening when she barked but it was her way of warning. She never ever bit anyone. And I loved that no matter what, strangers or my friends called her she wouldn’t give anyone attention at all and just do her own thing. I used to introduce her to people whom I wanted her to be friendly with, she would sniff them and know not to bark at them and would be friendly and play ball etc but never really became super affectionate with anyone other than me and my family.
@Pixel Go Crazy let’s see you fight someone in the streets
I seriously don’t understand why more women don’t have German shepherds
@Jubbi What does that prove? Humans attack innocent people to but that doesn’t make majority of our species.
I’ve got no problem with people training their dogs to be guard dogs, and watch dogs. People just need to respect a dog’s nature enough to understand, once they’ve learned that behavior and bonded with whom their responsible to protect…they’re always on, and WE are responsible for that dog just as if they were a firearm. Train them and keep training them.
FLYING SAUCER111 Actually no, there’s a lot of footage showing big dogs with very powerful bites that didn’t attack an intruder or an attacker, why? Because they aren’t trained.
Roger Scott how do i get them to protect me, my family and my house etc but also be friendly with strangers and other dogs, i want them to be friendly and playful until its actually time to initiate they protective instincts
It’s better to just train your dog to attack on command, that way they don’t have to be on all the time 🤷♀️

ok
“Little human … why are you climbing on my face?”
Ownyx human climbing on his face huh? Little human loves his dog
lol
Army BTS
Ikr
@Feather Ink But the dog not always think as this way and he doesn’t think it is well for him . Where are parents this a little human ? It’s can to be very dangerous for kids
am pretty sure there completley aware that the baby is there owners so they wont do that
When I was a little kid my golden retriever almost died protecting me from a stray Rottweiler. I’ll never forget her
@Jocelyn C im cutting Mountain Dew
I thought golden retrievers are not aggressive.
@FTM Motorsports I have a pet Bengal tiger 😂😂 Let the dogs out now🤣🤣 Kutte bhokte hain par Sher ko farak nahi padta 😜
@FTM Motorsports Says the one turning a good thing into a bad thing
That’s lucky rottweilers are tough
Remember, if you can’t call your dog off, then it’s just an attack dog, not a protector.
All gsd will look at you for instructions after they separated the target from you .. literally
Even without proper training , they are amazing guard dogs
@Teutonic Knight wow those are different if it is a stary it’s freaking different
Lol i dont mind.
@Raptorsified that is notably not what several people are saying.
@John Son That wasn’t his point. If you can’t call your dog off even if there’s no need then it’s just an attack dog, really not fit for a family pet.. What if a random family member tries to touch a child and the dog goes crazy?
Most of the dogs in this video are improperly trained. It is not up to the dog to decide if someone is posing a threat. You train the dog to defend and protect not attack everything that moves.
Big Dog Street Performance No, sorry, German Shepherds are dogs. They cannot decide which human interactions require the “on switch”. Thats not to say that naturally protective dogs like herding breeds won’t come to an owners defense by instinct, of course they will, but we’re not talking about that. We’re talking about how to train a dog for protection. That training MUST include “call on” and “call off” commands. No room for discussion here.
You’re ignoring that dogs read human eye movement and smell fear/aggression. You’re right about the on/off switch but on the other hand shepherds were originally made to herd and protect livestock on their own all alone. Threat assesment is one of their strong suits. A guy not backing doen after the dog has shown clear aggression in the first seconds of the situation for example factors in.
In this video, I feel that they are showing people who were trying to take the child or woman, and the dog can sense that.
@Henry Bowman have you seen the internet lately? I’d trust a dog to make a better decision than most humans
@Swirling Vortex of Entropy haha yesss 100% you’re correct
Dogs are great, but I would still not let my kids climb all over a dog. They could easily hurt the dog causing it to react. Do your dogs and kids a favour by supervising these interactions.
@Catfish 4 Life – they sure will …. just like most dogs.
@Scottish Lisa lol but them tiny dogs won’t 😂😂
@Dara Fisher you’re doing the Lord’s work
I have a German Shepard and I have a 6 year old sister who loves to mess with it. It hasn’t nipped or but her or even hurt her in any way she is very protective. Noting she is a female to
They fillmed it pretty sure they were watching
Como não amar? São os mais fiéis. Amor incondicional ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I’ve grown up with this breed. The first one we had as a family protected my brother and cats when two dogs got out of their house and went to attack my brother and my cat (and her kittens). The cats got in doors but my brother was still outside and the gate was open to our garden so the cats were still in danger. Our German Shepherd, Angel took the attack instead and let these two dogs drag her under a truck that was in the street so my brother wouldn’t get hurt.
Kidnapper to the kid: Come here!
German Shepherd: Bravo Six, Going Dark

Change my mind
I love this comment
I always find it amazing that basically newborns, rarely show fear of these big animals! It’s almost like we’re born knowing that these fearsome looking creatures are our friends! I mean, look at what these kids are seeing for the 1st time, something that’s 4 times bigger, has great big teeth and looks nothing like Mom, yet they just seem to know not to fear them.
I remember when my German Shepard jumped up at my dad when he playfully pushed me. He jumped up and put his mouth around his forearm but didn’t bite. He held his mouth open as a warning. That was without training. Absolutely brilliant dog. We weren’t trying to get him to react or anything. Me and my dad were just having a joke. I love my pooch so much.
Nice picture
Same with our gsd puppy. My husband’s friend extended his hand a little too quickly for our puppy’s liking. He lunged at him, barked but didnt bite… he was just trained to do sit, turn, stay and other basics.
@Divine
That’s great. Nothing is better than a German Shepard!
@Tajinder Singh Sandhu I’m not an expert but I believe the most important thing is that you have a strong bond with your dog. My dog knows that we’re family, I care for her and protect her, and therefore she’ll do anything to protect me. That’s what I always tell people when they say to me that they wish their dog would be as protective as mine is. Just my two cents 😊
@Lord Mysticlaw Best reply. Like you said, create a bond. If a dog knows you’re protecting him/her, makes them feel part of the pack and will do their part in return.
I never felt safer than walking with my GSD-Heeler mix. He had HUGE teeth but loved everyone! Still, I knew he would protect me if needed. Love!
German shepherds are so nice but really really protective and everytime someone would come over they wouldn’t do anything besides stare at the person and watch them
😂😂
At 17, I was owned by a 125 lb. GSD . I went for walks around my neighborhood at 2 am & never worried. He showed protective instinct many times. God, how I love the breed.
I was the same. My German Shepard and I went out at all hours. One night I used an ATM and a guy ran at me but didn’t see my companion. She scared him off. They are special dogs!
What is a GSD?
@Juliet Gover oh, sorry ! That’s the new, improved ! way of identifying the German Shepherd breed (read that few yrs.. ago ). GSD…..German Shepherd Dog .
The Dog owner you??
German shepherds are the best. Wow! Can I ask you a question please?@Theresa

@aliyah Candy addict hope to find some diamonds tonight night night. diamonds tonight
Children need to be taught to respect a dog’s personal space. No matter now protective or sensative they are with the child EVERY animal just like humans have a snapping point.
You must not be used to dogs. Dogs envy the attention and the love. It’s not annoying to them at all.
@Tellurius let alone most dogd
@Solson Pearson The vast majority of dogs can end your child without breaking a sweat. A decent parent won’t take that chance.
YES THANK YOU
@Emily Bones even in the wild, mama wolves snap at their pups.
The dog forming a protective circle around the child was amazing hes protecting from all angles
