I think people would want to keep the dog because they wouldn’t want whatever happened to the dog happening again to it. If the owner lost it or the dog got off the leash or whatever, that normally doesn’t happen and they probably will make the same mistake again. Idk owner didn’t seem responsible especially with how long that dog looked like it was outside for 🙂

This makes me happy, my cat (who’s name is also Leo) went missing a few weeks ago and I’ve been extremely depressed about it, because he literally has a chip, so if someone would’ve bothered to bring him to the vet he might be with me today which is why I say you should ALWAYS make sure it’s not just lost instead of assuming it’s a stray. Because there might be someone out there suffering while you have their pet. He’s a people person so there’s no doubt in my mind he just wandered off to somebody’s home and they decided to just take him. Just imagine your pet goes missing, and someone else takes them home and gives them a whole new name and just keeps them :/ I find that just as if not worse than him being dead. Because he does not belong anywhere else but with me. Home. 🙁
